Greenville Receives Goaltender Scott Stajcer |
| |
Greenville, SC: The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that goaltender Scott Stajcer has been assigned from
the Connecticut Whale.
Stajcer, a rookie out of the Ontario Hockey League and a fifth-round draft pick (140th overall) by the parent New
York Rangers in 2009, was 0-2-0 in three appearances for the Whale this year. In his first three games he allowed
10 goals-against on 63 shots (a 4.32 goals-against average and an 84.1% save percentage).
"I think Stajcer can step in and help solidify our situation in net," said Head Coach Dean Stork. “He's coming
here after a successful career in the Ontario Hockey League. Stajcer’s a solid goaltender and I'm excited to see
him in a Road Warriors uniform."
Goaltender Adam Courchaine has been released.
